Susan Brady
Susan has been doing hair for 20+ years with Aveda. She has taken her years of experience and created the intimate salon atmosphere she always wanted to work in. Susan loves to provide a personal experience for each guest tailored to their particular needs. With her uncompromising attitude, Susan keeps her and her stylists pushing forward to stay at the top of their game. Susan's skills were recently on display for fashion week in NYC, resulting in plans for an annual trip to show off her talents.
Shawn Jett
Shawn is a master stylist that has been with Aveda for over 23 years. Her extensive knowledge and experience is extraordinary. She has studied at the Aveda Institute in both Minneapolis and New York and also attended training at Vidal Sassoon in New York City. Shawn is Keratin Complex certified as well. Her focus is making sure her clients leave feeling refreshed and beautiful. Her big heart and passion for her guests is unmatched!
Robyn Rothe
Robyn recently moved to Wichita with over 17 years of hair color experience. She has always had a hunger for advanced education which lead her to Aveda. Continuing her passion for education she earned the title of American Board Certified Hair colorist in 2010. Maintaining the integrity of your hair is her priority. She enjoys the art of hair painting which includes balayage and ombre. She specializes in natural hair color. Although hair color is her specialty she also enjoys classic hair architecture. Whether it’s a classic bob or a long bohemian hairstyle she will discover the right hairstyle for you. Tell her your hair challenges and she will find solutions.
Crystal Cotton
Crystal is originally from Wichita KS. Through the years she has lived in various parts of the world! She joined our Sugar team in 2021 and has several years of Aveda experience. With her easy going personality and helpful spirit, she is a natural behind chair. Crystal enjoys the technical aspect of her career. She enjoys figuring out which haircut and color works best for each of her guests. Whether its bold and vivid hair color or the softest natural blend, Crystal makes it her mission to help each guest truly find joy with their cut, style and color no matter the hair type. With her many years in the industry, Crystal has a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer!
Olivia Waliczek
Olivia is a Wichita native. Sugar Salon owner Susan Brady has had the privilege of knowing her family for many many years, so when the opportunity presented itself to welcome her to our team, we were beyond happy! Olivia is a thoughtful and creative stylist. She is dedicated in taking the time to ensure each guest leaves her chair looking and feeling beautiful! Olivia loves to be a part of each guests transformation, big or small. Each opportunity she has to help her guests realize their unique hair goals is what she looks forward to most!
Stacey Jennings
Stacey wears many hats at Sugar Salon! Initially Stacey joined our team in 2016 as a stylist was inspiring to say the least! She built her career with Sugar quickly and made life long connections with her guests through her genuine care for them and her passion for her craft. Life, as it does, changes for us all, and Stacey was off to Colorado in late 2018. Fortunately for us, she was back in 2020! Upon her return, Stacey became Salon Coordinator for Sugar Salon. Her warm demeanor and knowledge of the industry was a natural fit. However, her first love is behind the chair. Realizing this, we revamped her role. On one day, Stacey may greet you when you arrive with her fun and inviting nature! On another you’ll see her behind the chair, creating beautiful color and laughing with her guests! Stacey has a spirit for helping people feel beautiful inside and out!
Larisa Puttroff
Larisa is a Master Stylist with 16+ years of experience as a cosmetologist and more than 23 years in the beauty industry. She has practiced in the U.S. as well as Europe. Larisa is experienced with many types of hair and enjoys expanding her knowledge every chance she gets. She has worked in Aveda Salons for the last 6 years and loves the natural focus. Her wealth of knowledge and caring spirit comes through in each guest she sees. Whether it’s hair cutting or color, Larisa is ready for the challenge.
Kara Locke
Kara is a junior stylist at Sugar. While Kara enjoys all techniques and aspects with color, she is equally excited with the art of hair cutting. Whether it is a bald fade or long layers you were looking for, Kara happy to meet the challenge! The every day aspects of being a great hair artist motivates her while vibrant punky color and the latest techniques inspire her to keep growing. Kara’s warm personality and fun outlook make her a great fit for our team!
Ellie Garrett
Ellie is originally from the Kansas City area. She moved here several years ago to begin her career. Ellie is the life of the party. Her enthusiasm for life parallels her passion for hair. She enjoys the methodical process of an intricate color correction, being creative with vivid colors and knocking out the brightest blondes! Whatever the case, you are sure to have a great time in her chair with plenty of laughter.
Meghan Liby
Meghan is a native Kansan and has been in the industry for over 2 years. She enjoys all aspects of her career, but her expertise lies in balayage and hair cutting. Meghan loves the process from the consultation to her guests elation when they see the end result! She is patient and precise in her coloring process to ensure beautiful results. Meghan is also certified in NBR hair extensions as well. When she’s not at Sugar, you might find her hanging with one of her 4 fur babies, or shopping at one our local thrift shops.
